During the recordings of the 17 string quartets by Villa-Lobos, the Radamés Quartet chooses for getting away from more traditional approaches as often done in symphonic or chamber works by Villa.
Instead of grandiosity, and masses of vibrato sound, enter the delicacy and subtle comments about the Brazilianness of each work, with the improvement of a language that was already being worked by the ensemble in “Brazil de Tuhu”, series of educational concerts performed in recent years in the North, Northeast and Midwest regions of the country.

Since 2009 the Radames Gnattali Quartet has been conducting a series of Educational Concerts. By 2010 there were 30 municipalities benefited, located in the states of Acre, Ceará, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Piauí and Tocantins.
