About Us

The history of the Quarteto Radamés Gnattali began in 2006, with a tribute to one of the greatest Brazilian composers. The very name of the group, which reflects the interest of four musicians in promoting Latin American chamber music, is in itself an indication of their original intent.

The Brasil de Tuhu 2017 tour begin

August 8, 2017

The Radamés Gnattali Quartet and the entire team of Brasil de Tuhu project embark today on the first destination of the 2017 tour. We are ready to cover 18,590 km in the next 30 days. In addition to Brasil de Tuhu`s didatic concerts, the Quartet will bring the best of Villa-Lobos, a collection of various movements of the composer's 17 string quartets, to be performed in September at Carnegie Hall in New York. Brazilian Music Awards

June 20th, 2017

The Radamès Gnattali Quartet was indicated for the 28th edition of the Brazilian Music Awards, on the category Álbum Erudito, with the double CD Radamés toca Radamés, released in 2016.
